    Carson (President and Boss Guy)

    Carson takes the visions and runs with it. “Support” is Carson’s middle name. He supports the whole sport locally and gets things done so everyone else reaps the rewards of a super cool sport and club. The real boss is his wife Lisa who support from behind the scenes with administration obstacles.

  • Board of Directors

    SS Freestyle is supported by the SS Freestyle Board of Directors. Together they have a shared vision to operate and maintain a safe sport for all in the community of freestyle skiing and snowboarding. The duties of directors require administration, communications, staffing, policy, governance, events, facilities, fundraising, partnerships and more.

    Coach Wade

    Wade is the Head Ski Coach at SS Freestyle. He is passionate about skiing, snowboarding, & riding bikes. He has been part of the SS Freestyle Club for 25 years. Wade supports the athletes, coaches and the vision to create world leading facilities and programs. Wade’s goal is to provide a safe, fun, learning environment for all who participate in Silver Star Freestyle / Xcelerate programs.

    Coach Crispin

    Crispin is the Head Snowboard Coach at SS Freestyle. He brings three decades of snowboard experience at all levels to the SS Freestyle and Xcelerate. Crispin was a member of Team Canada for 12 years on the Halfpipe Team and is a two-time Olympian. He s the owner and host at Treeine Park BC. Crispin is at the heart of our local community.

    Coach Nick

    Nick Payne is a former Australian World Cup athlete with a strong competitive background in freestyle skiing. Over the past five years, he has transitioned into coaching, bringing elite-level experience, technical expertise, and a deep passion for athlete development. Nick has spent the last four years coaching at Silver Star Mountain Resort.

    Coach Tate

    Tate loves all things freestyle skiing. He is a member of Team Canada for freestyle skiing and loves traveling and skiing with friends. Tate loves progression in all forms and helping kids learn gives him the same joy as learning something for himself. Tate wants to continue to develop as a coach and an athlete within the Silver Star freestyle community.
